Using CamPanel, I would like to set things up so that I could have the cam on my laptop running wireless, and another system using that connection along with another feed from a video capture board inside the machine. Any ideas or more in detail set up information would be helpful. Also, I just would like this to work over my lan and not over the internet.

You would run CamPanel software on the main computer and TrackerCam Software on the laptop. On the main computer you would first add the _local_ camera video that comes in through the capture board. Then you would add a second _remote_ camera using the IP and PORT number of the laptop. That IP would be on your LAN. It would not be visible from the outside Internet unless you set your LAN's router to forward the PORT number to your laptop. It should be blocked by default.
